I like to learn new things, and I like art. Which is why I like advertising, I guess. 
 Learn about a product, and make art for it.
Throughout my career I've realised I like making ideas for the average tin sinking Aussie - not for other people in advertising. That'd be my philosophy, if someone on a podcast ever asked me if I had one. 

I like ideas that get yarned about at the pub, or in the office on a Monday morning when no one has anything better to talk about. Those ideas are the ultimate award winners for me. 
I also like True Detective (season one), surfing twin fins and 'The Gold Finch' by Donna Tart.
